We offer no refunds, no returns and no exceptions except under specific documented conditions. Usually only authorized dealers are able to offer a manufacturer warranty, and this is a benefit of becoming an authorized dealer and a benefit to the consumer buying from an authorized dealer. Please read the following terms and conditions for correctly returning merchandise to GPR so we can properly repair or replace your merchandise or credit your account.

Warranty terms & Conditions

GPR Stabilizer LLC. and R.S. Norman Mfg guarantees your GPR Stabilizer and kit components free of manufacturing defects per the following conditions:

Stabilizer: The GPR Stabilizer features a limited lifetime warranty. What is the lifetime of the product? It will vary from rider to rider. For example, a damper may last a professional racer/rider only 2-4 seasons, while a casual, seasonal weekend rider may get 10 years usage out of a single damper. You replace your bike and components at your discretion, based on varied factors including mileage or more advanced technology available and it's the same principal with buying and owning a damper kit. We've not seen a worn out damper on our professional racers bikes since we've started making this product in 1999, so you will defiantly get countless riding seasons out of one unit. In most cases, you may move the damper unit from bike to bike with the proper mounting kits. If for any reason during the lifetime of the damper unit/stabilizer there develops a manufacturing defect, other than cosmetic, that makes the damper perform other than intended, at GPR's sole discretion, we will either repair or replace the damper with a product of equal or higher value at no additional cost to the customer. There is no specific guideline that can be applied to every potential warranty situation. Each case where a warranty may or may not be applicable will be handled on a case by case basis. Crash damage does not apply. We will do our best to get your damper repaired and back on your bike ASAP.

Components: Dirt bike, street bike and ATV post mount, base plate, pin, hardware or any other kit components other than the stabilizer itself is warranted for 90 days to be free of manufacturing defects . Any alleged defective components characteristic will readily make it self apparent during that time frame. You will be asked to contact us with pictures and/or send in the alleged component back to us for inspection, once you have been issued an RA# and authorization for return.

Seals (O-Rings): Seals are the quickest thing to go and the hardest part to warranty. As we don't manufacture the seals and can't control the variety of conditions. Age, heat, pre-storage, assembly, racing conditions and a wide variety of additional factors will determine how long a seal lasts. The same concept you apply to your forks and/or shock. We will warranty the seals and repair/service the init for the first 90 days. All's we ask of you is to pick up the freight to us/GPR and we will ship it back to you at no charge. We use UPS ground(standard shipping). If you need expedited shipping other than ground on the return trip back, then you may request expedited shipping and pay the difference from the ground-shipping fee. If you see a little fluid around the seams of your damper, don't panic. It is most likely residual oil/fluid that has trapped in the crevices of the unit. This will happen when the damper is new (never used) and is normal during the first couple of rides (or one good ride). This is due to the deals seating, expanding etc...

Return Info

Refusals: If you refuse a package without already having an RMA#, a 20% restocking fee may be issued and subtracted from any credit you may be issued. No notice may be given to you and your refused order may be returned to stock and any/all credits to your account w/o any notification.

Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled only by an authorized GPR representative. This must occur before your order has shipped from our warehouse. If it has already shipped, we will discuss your options at that point of time.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Procedure

Merchandise returns can only be made after a GPR representative issues a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). Any package sent to GPR with out a valid RMA# clearly printed on the outside of the package will be refused and returned to the sender, with GPR incurring no shipping costs either way. Returned merchandise will only be accepted under the following specific terms and conditions:

  1. Merchandise must be new and in it's original package (un-opened) and include all instructions so it can be resold as a brand new unit. Enclosed a copy of your packing slip or e-mailed invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. If an RMA# has been issued and merchandise is returned to GPR in used or poor condition and cannot be resold as new, then merchandise will be returned with no credit or refund being applied to your account for merchandise and shipping. You may not get credited the full amount of the return if it is shipped to GPR without an RMA# and we accept the package without returning it to you.
  2. We do not assume freight charges nor responsibility for merchandise damaged or lost in transit, so ship it to us from a reputable freight company such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc... Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging if possible. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping. It is in your best interest to pay for both tracking service and delivery confirmation for any packages/items returned to us.
  3. There is no time frame given on crediting your account, we will get to it as quickly as we can once the item(s) have arrived back to GPR, are inspected and returned to stock.
  4. Only orders less than 30 days old from date of invoice will be considered for return. 30 days, or 1 month, is more than an adequate time frame for you to realize there is something wrong with your order and to contact GPR to start the RMA procedure.
  5. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns must be preauthorized by GPR and may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee at our sole discretion. These amounts will be deducted from the original kit/part price and the remaining balance will be credited either to your account or to the original credit card that was used at the time of purchase.
  6. If you received an incorrect item per our mistake, no extra charge will be incurred for returned UPS Ground only freight fees on the incorrect item and UPS Ground only freight fees for the correct parts shipped back to you.

The receipt of an e-mail, fax, verbal or e-commerce order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. GPR reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. By placing a credit card order, the customer grants GPR permission to contact your bank to verify name and address. Prices subject to change with out notice. Mistakenly posted prices on the website do not obligate us to those incorrect prices. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason.
