GPR's RT Motorsports WSBK SS 600 Racer Wins at Aragon
RT Motorsport's Jed Metcher (AUS) wins his first superstock 600 race at the Spanish Aragon track.
After a solid qualifying in hot conditions the MtM - RT Motorsports takes his second pole position in
4 races so far in the 2011 season. The Belgium youngster Gauthier Duwelz from MtM - RT Motorsports
takes 7th place on the starting grid and rookie Australian Adrian Nestorovic starts frm the 12th
position on the grid.
MtM - RT Motorsports Yamaha team makes a lot improvements during the weekend and the pre-season
test at Aragon in March this year shows now again that track knowledge is very important in this very
competitive class.
Jed Metcher starts very good in the 10 lap race and he managed a great flag-to-flag victory with a 3
second lead in front of championship leader Lannuse, from France. Gauthier Duwelz rode a magnificent
race with great style and some unbeleiveable overtakes. He managed his first podium of the year with a 3rd.
Rookie Adrian Nestorovic shows his great talent and managed his 2nd top 10 finish in 2 races with a 9th.
Jed Metcher is 2nd in the championship , 20 points behind Lannuse.
Great results for the MtM - RT Motorsports team and impressive resluts from Jed Metcher. In the first 4 races
of the season he has scored 2 poles, 1 track lap record, and 3 podiums.
