Rockstar/ Famous Stars And Straps Athlete Jim McNeil starts the 2010 Red Bull X Fighters Championship strong with a 5th place finish in Mexico City on the weekend.
Jim came to Mexico to make a statement after 2 years of bad luck at X Games and Dew tour events it was all Jim needed for motivation and it showed, Jim qualified 5th for the final and had a few tricks left up his sleeve for the main event.
Unfortunately in the Final it started to rain, Jim rode against Dany Torres and was beaten by Dany in the head to head in a very close score, Jim was incredibly unlucky not to progress to the semi final.
But shortly after they had to call off the event due to the weather.
so the results were as per Qualifying order.
" It was a good feeling arriving in Mexico City knowing I was completely healthy my new bikes are great, Unfortunately the event was cut short and I wasn't able to get to put my final run together like I had hoped"
From Mexico the championship heads to Giza Egypt where in a world first the event will be held directly in front of the Pyramids.
