TAYLOR ROBERTS RACE REPORT

Feb 2nd, 2010
Date: Tue, 2 Feb 2010 14:42:50 -0800
This past weekend was the opening round of the WORCS series and boy was it eventful. There was a ton of hype going into this season with Mike Brown holding the number one plate, Ricky Dietrich who has obviously been one of the fastest guys, and Bobby Bonds who is on his own team now and is way more fit than he has been in the past.
During the off season I had quite a few changes to my program. I am now riding the 2010 YZ450 Yamaha for the Valli Motorsports team, and am also running number 4 which I earned last year in my rookie season.
Coming into the race I knew I could do very well being that Speedworld is my home track. On the starting line I knew that this race was going to be good. I got an awesome jump and as soon as I was off the gate I knew that I had the hole shot. At the end of the first lap I had about a 10 second lead and from there on I just rode my own race. I ended up leading every lap and took the win over Mike Brown and Kurt Caselli.
I can't thank the people who helped me out this year enough. I know the economy has been tough for everyone but I would like to thank those who believe in me.
See you at the races,
Taylor Robert
